CooX
Decentralised Co-creative Organisation
CooX is a Metaverse NFT co-creation platform , allowing for fractional ownership of creativity. By utilising the innovative Coot model, built on blockchain technology, CooX tracks and writes each creative input into smart contracts. This ensures a fairer distribution of contributions in the creative process. Tokenisation is employed to reward and incentivize CooXers for increased liquidity and circulation of their co-created works. CooX’s mission is to unite its own decentralised co-creative community, driving a new era of creative equality.

The Context.
The notion of collaborative learning has been responding to the global setting. The modern collaborative spaces are becoming flatter and people are more disparate. However, the need for collaborative work and creative ideation continues to grow. Despite the explosive growth of screens, digital tools, and remote platforms, until today, there is no alternative comparable to face-to-face interactions.
How could the new frontier of metaverse empower collaborative learning in creativity?
The Opportunities.
The metaverse entered into the discussion as a game-changer, which shows potential in empowering collaborative learning in creativity in three ways:
The Problems.
I. User Interview
To gain insights into the gaps in the current collaborative learning situation, we interviewed five subjects from relevant backgrounds. Currently, collaborative learning lacks authenticity and humanity. To leverage Metaverse technology for future creative collaboration, we must prioritize the ownership of individuals and communities.
II. Opportunity Space
An analysis of highly-related competitors were carried out.
Research Question.
With the gaps identified, I am especially interested in how the gamified nature of metaverse. Therefore,
How might we utilise the gamifying nature of metaverse to
facilitate collaborative learning in ‘future creative studio’ ?

Primary Research.
The primary research contextualized the notion of a 'future creative studio' through a variety of research methods. A combination of trend research, expert interview, and workshop with creators were carried out to explore:
What is the Vision for ‘Future Creative Studio?
I. Trend Research & Expert Interview
The weak signals analysed from the collected trends and expert interviews point to a transformation of creative collaborations towards a highly intertwined and autonomous future.
II. Creative Workshops
A creative workshop was conducted with five creative practitioners to gaininsights into the opportunities of Metaverse creative studios.
The workshop included a shadow tour, a following- up interview, and ended with a brainstorming session.

Define the Project.
The primary research insights helps set boundaries for the vision of the project, and therefore the solution criteria. The criteria was used throughout the project for design validation. To this point, the project scope is well-defined as:
Concept Exploration.
Brainstorming
Based on the vision, I start exploring possible design concepts. with "what if" questions. Four concepts were selected.

Experiment Overview
Experiments were designed out of the concepts,
where rapid digital prototypes were made and tested
with different creative practitioners.
Experiments
An iterative development based on the insights received from users.
EXP_01 NFT Creative Library
Kyra's virtual creative library was built as a digital prototype to test the potential of having a cloud base mixed with market functionality.

EXP_02. Web3 Studio
The second experiment tested creators' perception of a growing relationship between their web3 profile and collaboration.

EXP_03. Matching Collaborator
In this experiment, four people joined to simulate the process of using a Web3 profile to sourcing teammates through a gamified way.

EXP_04. Additive Co-creation
Three creative individuals worked together on a 3D model and kept track of their changes and comments. The goal was to see if using a data-driven model would make the collaboration more creative.

Next Step:
The feedback suggested that combining the model with blockchain could bring many benefits, including transparent contribution distribution and more autonomy for artists. It could also lead to business innovation in the NFT market.

Development of the Coot Model.
Model Prototyping
A unique language system of CooX was created in the third prototype, with a financial model known as the Coot model. Every artwork published is called a "Coot". There are three stakeholders involved: the person who starts the project (Initiator), those who help make it (Collaborator), and the person who buys it (Collector).
CooX Language System
12 users gave feedback during model development, they are mainly from creative and business industries.
Development of the CooX System.
Interface Prototype
The CooX system uses Unity as the tool for VR environment development. It has many potential uses, but here it's shown through a case of a pixel art co-creation on the platform.

Final Design.
The CooX System
CooX is a Metaverse platform for NFT co-creation. CooX offers open and accessible spaces in web3 where creators and creative learners can collaborate an exchange ideas through co-creation, all tracked by a blockchain-based Coot model.
The CooX Interface
The Coot Model
The Coot model is the main innovation of the project. It allows for fair distribution of contributions made during a collaboration. Through tokenisation. CooX incentivizes contributions by offering different levels of rewards and royalties. By deploying fractionalised-NFT concept, CooXers can monetize their co-created works and have direct financial participation. The scalable model can be adapted for use in various fields.

CooX Community
At CooX, we embrace a diverse and democratised ecosystem that meets the varying needs of CooXers. Our Studio Vibrance Ranking, designed using math models, offers intuitive ranking of studio index. The mission is to unite our own ‘DCO’ - Decentralised Co-creative Community, driving a new era of creative equality.
The Community Rule
Conclusion & Foresight.
CooX Touchpoints
CooX meets all design parameter from research. Its incentives drive creativity and proactive participation. The platform prioritizes fairness and equal access for all users and offers a secure, traceable, and authentic Web3 environment for creative collaboration.
Our future focus is to tackle technology hurdles for successful tokenisation and expand from VR to web-based or plug-in options. This will improve accessibility and user experience in our ecosystem.
